A practice score is not the booked exam
A percent from a practice product is that product’s score for one sitting. The testing body’s result is a different document. Write the product, the date, and the percent, and do not file them as the official outcome.
The percent belongs to the product
A practice set prints a score for the items it contains. That number is how that product graded that sitting. Another product can grade the same person differently on the same day, because the items are not the exam you booked.
A “pass” line inside the product is the product’s own line. It is not the testing body’s scale, and it is not a score report.
The official result is a separate record
The result that matters for the credential is the report from the testing body after you sit the exam you registered for. Until that report exists, write “official result not issued.” Do not paste the practice percent into that blank.
Keep the practice row anyway. It is a study note about one sitting. It is not a credential.
What to write down
File the product name, the date of the sitting, the percent, and whether you used notes. File the exam appointment separately, with its code and date. If you say “passed,” the sentence has to name the official report.
Lab: an 82 that was not a credential
On 2026-11-02 a vendor practice set prints 82 and its own pass line. The appointment for the booked exam is 2026-11-20, and no score report has been issued. A draft adds “Security certified, 82” to a résumé line.
The note keeps 82 as the practice product’s score on that date. The résumé line is removed. The appointment stays a future sitting. Official result: not issued.
