The Ready count is not the pod phase
Ready is a container count. Phase is a different field. Write both, and do not copy one into the other.
Ready is a fraction of containers
The Ready column is how many containers are ready, over how many the pod expects. 0/1 means none of one are ready. 1/1 means the one container is ready. It is not the phase word, and it is not an image digest.
A pod can show phase Running while Ready is 0/1. The process started far enough for the phase, and the readiness check has not passed. Those are two fields.
The phase is the other column
Phase is Pending, Running, Succeeded, or Failed, as printed. Do not write Running because Ready is 1/1, and do not write Ready because the phase is Running. If one column was cropped, say which one is missing.
This page does not change probes and does not delete the pod. It only keeps the two fields from being swapped in the note.
How the row is cited
File the namespace, the pod name, Ready, and the phase. A sentence about readiness uses the fraction. A sentence about the phase uses the phase word.
Lab: Running with Ready 0/1
In namespace team-a, pod lab-web shows READY 0/1 and STATUS Running. A draft says the pod is ready because the phase is Running.
The note quotes Ready 0/1 and phase Running. The container is not ready. The phase stays Running. The draft sentence that treats them as the same fact is removed.

Check yourself
1. READY is 0/1 and the phase is Running. What is 0/1?
2. What is Running on that row?
3. The paste shows Ready 1/1 and no phase. What do you write for the phase?
